Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
The year had barely began when I was driving home listening the radio about this unfortunate woman being accused of stealing from her employer. I say ‘unfortunate’ because of the unbelievable drama, shame, and life changing experience she’s about to go through. Not only her, but also her family, friends, and the community she lives in. Ooh, how I wish she could have read this blog or my books before now! If you haven’t already, please read the mission statement.
Today’s CrimeDiva, Debbie Brioch, 52, of Pinckney, MI was arrested, booked, and arraigned on embezzlement charges on December 21 [What horrible timing!]. Ms. Brioch is being accused of stealing a million dollars form a staffing firm she worked for as a bookkeeper. The authorities state she committed this crime over a six-year span.
I am going to follow this case from being to end, just so you readers can see how it unfolds. So keep reading these posts please.
