Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
One thing I know for sure, when it comes to the criminal justice system MONEY talks. This posting is a prime example.
The CrimeDiva for today is, Sherri Lynn Perry, 50, of Crozet. Ms. Crozet, a former office assistant, was sentenced to 20 years, 19 of which were ‘suspended’, [Lucky girl] by the Charlottesville Circuit Court for embezzling. Ms. Crozet was convicted of embezzling $500,000 from her employer GOCO, Inc., because she was able to pay most of the stolen money back the court gave her only one year of jail time.
What do you think about the court action with this case? Do you think that justice has been served being that her employer was able to recoup most of the money back? Is that Justice that is returning some of the money? So, is the time connected to the money and not the crime? Interesting, what are your thoughts on this?
The mission of this site is to prevent professional, educated, and career-minded females from committing white-collar crimes; to educate, and confabulate with others who have an interest in this epic situation and who has a desire to make a difference.
