The Food stamp Program or EBT was designed for families who would otherwise struggle to buy healthy food on their own. The program, administered by states using funding and guidelines from the federal government, aims to help low-income families avoid the physical ailments and maladies that can stem from malnourishment. The program’s vision is that a healthy diet should not be out of reach for anyone in the United States. These programs are income based and how many persons are living in the household and there maybe some other factors for determination. Though this is a small money crime, it is still a crime and comes with all the punishments of a large money crime.
