Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
For over twenty years, Michael Yedor, 62, of Los Angeles, and Paul A. Anderson, 58 of Apple Valley stole over $36 million dollars from Delta and Norwest Airlines while they worked in supervisory positions. According to court records: Mr. Anderson, started working with Eagan-based Northwest in 1979, overseeing installation, maintenance and upgrading of radio communications for the airlines’ control and crisis centers starting in 1986. He continued with Delta after the two airlines merged in 2009. Mr. Anderson began his scheme with Yedor in 2004 by submitting numerous false invoices on behalf of Airborne Voice and Data, purportedly owned by Yedor. The invoices sought payment from the airlines for goods and services from Airborne that never were provided. Payments were for as little as $11,000 but topped $200,000 at least seven times. In exchange for approving each invoice, Anderson received a kickback in the scheme that didn’t end until last year. Mr. Anderson was living the lifestyle of the rich and famous. He owned a 72-ft yacht, where he was arrested. Had a mansion in Beverly Hills just a mention a few of his luxuries. He was given only ten years in the federal prison and with good time, he will be out in seven. Who says crime doesn't pay, twenty plus years of a rich lifestyle with millions in exchange for seven years in prison. People are willing to gamble with their life. In reflecting on this, I believe it is more than Greed; it's a desire to have cultural status in my view. What do you think?
The mission of this site is to prevent professional, educated, and career-minded females from committing white-collar crimes; to educate, and confabulate with others who have an interest in this epic situation and who has a desire to make a difference.
