Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves

IRS Representative, Convicted of Fraud

Todays’ CrimeDiva, Candace Walker, 33, of Buffalo, NY  was convicted and sentenced to 2 years probation after being found guilty of collecting $11,455 in unemployment insurance benefits while she was still employed by the IRS during the years 2010 through 2011.
I’ m amazed . .  . with all the media coverage on crime today that individuals are still gambling with their freedom while committing these white-collar crimes.  Though, Ms. Walker’s ‘collection’ was far less than most CrimeDivas, the fact that she worked for one of the largest government offices she should known how closely the government monitors government funds.
You may not get caught right away, but it is only a matter of time. Ms. Walker is fortunate she didn’t have to go to prison, but this is a federal felony and it will be on her record for the rest of her life.
