Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
This CrimeDivas, Donna Dzienisewski, 40, of Middletown, N.J. was totally off the hook. She pleaded guilty to second-degree health care claims fraud. Under the plea agreement, Ms. Dzienisewski faces five years or more in prison and will be ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution and will have a civil judgment of $50,000 against her.
“According to the records, Ms.Dzienisewski repeatedly tried to submit from 2011 through 2013, “107 health insurance claims” for the total of $502,740. Ms. Dzienisewski, however, never actually visited the doctor on 101 of those occasions and therefore had no medical expenses. She did incurred $2,640 in medical expenses for the 6 claims, but had altered those invoices showing falsely that she incurred a total of $8,640 in medical expenses. In total, Ms. Dzienisewski raked in $141,126.
