Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
This is a troubling situation that sick people now have to be concerned about someone stealing their information from medical centers and its illegal misuse.
Today’s CrimeDivas are, Salina Soriano, 37, of San Jose, and Regina Kennedy, 36, a transient [is she homeless?]. Both were charged with identify theft. According to the records, they allegedly collected over 115 patients’ information through stolen mail, notebooks, and ledgers in the Santa Clara County Bay Area.
They were arrested when they checked into the pricy, Avatar Hotel in Santa Clara, using a fraudulent credit card. The two have pleaded not guilty to a variety of identity theft charges and are being held on $165,000 bail. They are facing up to eight years in jail if convicted due to previous convictions of possession of stolen property.
This is yet another reason to regularly check your credit report. There are people who work at places who are stealing information, there are people who are stealing mail, and there’s the internet where people are also stealing important information. Getting a credit report will allow you to know of any misuse; the quickly you know the faster you can take actions.
The mission of this site is to prevent professional, educated, and career-minded females from committing white-collar crimes; to educate, and confabulate with others who have an interest in this epic situation and who has a desire to make a difference.
