Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
“When you know a thing, to hold to that you know it, and when you do not know a thing, to allow that you do not know it–this is knowledge,” Confucius
Today’s CrimeDiva is, Egija Kuka, 48, of New Jersey. Ms. Kuka and her husband ran Totowa-based Optima University test preparation service. The couple used a digital device to copy the medical exam questions and gave them to clients at their test-prep centers in New Jersey and Tennessee. It is not clear to me if those taking the exam were paying for the answers and had knowledge of the wrong-doing.
It is a scary thought that a doctor might have cheated on his/her medical examine. As Confucius says, either you know a thing or you don’t that’s knowledge. I hope that any medical students reading this will do the right thing and study for that test.
At the sentencing Ms. Kuka was given time sentenced and is facing deportation to her native Latvia. Her husband is at-large.
The mission of this site is to prevent professional, educated, and career-minded females from committing white-collar crimes; to educate, and confabulate with others who have an interest in this epic situation and who has a desire to make a difference.
