Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
You have heard the old saying, “Crime pays!” It does, but not in the way you may think.
Alci Bohannee, 36, of South Florida was sentenced to 26 years and five months in federal prison.
As I reported in an earlier post, Ms. Bonannee was convicted of 33 fraud and identity theft charges in connection of her filing over $11.7 million dollars in false tax return claims and the IRS processed and send her over $4.5 million of those claims.
What was surprising to me was to hear the comment the judge in the sentencing made: “To put it bluntly, ma’am, you are a parasite and a blight on society, ” U.S. District Judge James Cohn. I wonder if this judge has a reputation of using this line of remarks, or if this happened to be a special case?
More importantly, DO NOT commit a CRIME. The time that is being handed out in many cases are surpassing murder.
The mission of this site is to prevent professional, educated, and career-minded females from committing white-collar crimes; to educate, and confabulate with others who have an interest in this epic situation and who has a desire to make a difference.
