Today’s crime involves ‘extortion’ – It is when one person illegally obtains property from another by actual or threatened force, fear, or violence, or under cover of official right.

In the state of Mississippi, Jennifer Lee Harrison was arrested and charged with trying to extort thousands from Mississippi Supreme Court Associate Justice David Chandler.

Ms. Harrison was allegedly trying to get the judge to pay her $9,000 to keep from going to the media with claims about his son, who she lived with, but according to the justice was thrown out of his home.

Justice Chandler went to the police about the extortion and Ms. Harrison was then arrested. She was later released from the Desoto County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Stay tune to learn more about different white-collar crimes and the females that commit them.
