Female White-Collar Crime Divas-Mordern Day Thieves
I was researching the word telemarketing since it is considered an area for white-collar crime, and came upon several recent stories of female white-collar crimes. All were about big-time fraud and schemes and most were in the Atlanta, GA, area. Due to the money amounts the females made it onto Crime$Divas list..
The first that I will share today is about Diva Kara Singleton Adams, 40 years old. I told you guys there’s something about these middle age women. Ms. Adams was convicted for a $25 million telemarketing fraud scheme. Her companies were charging people a steep fee, up to $1500, to have their credit card interest rates reduced, but in reality they were pocketing the money and nothing was done.
This operation was occurring in 46 of the states, so can you imagine how many people got ripped off to get to $25 million. To read the complete story go to my website: http://www.CrimeDivas.com.
Okay people, a red flag should go up in your mind when someone calls you to offer you any kind of money transaction deals. Unfortunately, as long as there are peple that are unlearned, desperate, and easy to be preyed upon there will be Divas and Don’s willing to take the risk of going to prison to get the $$$$.
Check in with me on Monday to find out about this next Crime Diva. If this story doesn’t scare you from committing a white-collar crime, then you need to do the time. I will also be providing the next clue to, WHO IS THE CRIME DIVA OF THE DECADE/CENTURY?
The mission of this site is to prevent professional, educated, and career-minded females from committing white-collar crimes; to educate, and confabulate with others who have an interest in this epic situation and who has a desire to make a difference.
